Welcome to Bush Kids Busselton, where we provide warm, nature-based childcare Busselton families trust. Our Busselton centre is more than just a daycare – it’s a community where children learn, play, and grow together in the heart of nature. Whether you’re new to the Busselton area or a long-time local, you’ll find our centre is a friendly, family-focused environment that embraces every child’s unique spirit.

At Bush Kids, we believe children thrive when they connect with nature. Every day, our little ones explore the outdoors, from digging in the mud kitchen to discovering bugs in the garden. Guided by caring educators, children develop creativity, confidence, and resilience through play-based learning under sunny skies and tall trees. We embrace Busselton’s beautiful surroundings – rain or shine – turning the outdoors into our greatest classroom. Indoors, our spaces are cozy and welcoming, but it’s the outdoor adventures that truly set us apart and fill each day with wonder.
Our centre also values community and belonging. We foster strong relationships with local families and involve the Busselton community in our activities. Children learn to care for each other and their environment, growing into compassionate, curious young learners who feel right at home both in nature and in our centre. It’s a nurturing, safe place where childhood is celebrated and every child is encouraged to be an explorer.

Managed by Mrs. Kathy McKrill, our Centre benefits from her 30 years of unparalleled experience in child development, family support, and staff mentorship. A transformative study tour to Reggio Emilia in 2002 has profoundly influenced Kathy’s approach, championing our children as capable and confident learners—a philosophy that permeates every aspect of our Centre.
At our Busselton centre, kids experience more than just childcare. They explore, discover, and connect with the world around them through regular outings and visits:
